It's been so long...

Abby and I have been MIA for a while! We are slowly getting ready for the arrival of Abigail's little sister (coming May 23rd, give or take a week) Abby is loving daycare and is changing so quickly. She is now a walking, running, talking (incomprehensibly) tall, funny and smiling little toddler!
I'll try to catch you up in pictures on the months and events that we missed.

We will try to be on a little more often.

La première fête d'Abigail

La première fete d'Abby a eu lieu le 20 septembre 2009. Il a fait tellement beau, ce fut une merveilleuse journée entouré de famille.

Abigail grandit tellement vite, et elle remplie nos journées de bonheur!

Abby's new friend Peter the Puma

This Puma puppet was the only childhood stuffed animal I kept. It was great to see Abby playing and sharing with Peter the Puma. She will one day be a great big sister, I am sure of it!

Brushing her teeth

Abigail is brushing her teeth twice a day now. She really loves when we hand her the tooth brush. She also likes the little girl in the mirror!

Il fait froid!

J'ai laisser la porte -patio ouverte toute la nuit, et quand Abigail et moi nous sommes reveillées, on avait froid! Alors je lui ai mis sa belle robe de chambre (beau cadeau de matante Dédé) et des babylegs et Abby était pas mal plus comfortable!

Fun in Hemmingford with the grand-parents

We went to Hemmingford to spend some time with Oma, and we had a great time with the family. Abby got this weird reaction to something. She had red bumps all over. They pretty much dissapeared the next day.

A special message

I went back to work after 1 year off to spend time with my little girl, and I came back to a special message. Abby was upset that I put her down to take a picture. Thanks Mark and Abby!

Une visite a Sans-Souci

Abigail a fait sa premiere visite a Sans Souci au mois d'aout. On a découvert qu'elle a vraiment peur des animaux. Les chevaux de loin ne semblait pas etre un problème, mais de proche, elle ne voulait rien savoir. J'espère bien qu'elle s'en remettra!


Avec Josiane et Salvador qui faisait sa première visite a Sans Souci aussi.

A picnic in the park

While Mark was away this summer, we went to the park with Daph and the kids. We had a great time. The only sad thing about that day is that it started to rain :( But we still had fun while it was nice.

Fun at the Biodome

We went to the Biodome today, along with everyone in the city! Who doesn’t try to do something fun inside when it is pouring outside and also on the last day of construction holidays? So after an hour wait inside in our wet shoes, we got in. We only stayed for about an hour, because it was so full, it was not easy to take our time walking through. Plus, when you are pushing your jumbo stroller, you are blocking a lot of space.  Abby seemed to particularly love the fish. Which is odd because they weren’t pretty tropical fish, they were ugly St-Lawrence fish… and she screams in terror when she sees a cuddly adorable dog… weird girl!

Visite chez Grand-papa et Grand-maman

On est aller passer la journée avec grand-papa et grand-maman cette semaine. Abby a rencontré sa grande tante Dédé, et elle a marcher pour la premiere fois! Elle a aussi decouvert que les framboises, c’est bon! Elle a ensuite fais un petit tour a la plage municipal. Elle faisait des cris de dinosaure dans l’eau, et le soleil s’était couvert, alors elle commencait a avoir froid…

Abigail commence a se prommener! Elle a encore besoin d’aide, mais elle a beaucoup plus confiance en elle!

Abby cracks me up!

Abby is so funny. She has been screaming more and more, and it is really ear piercing! I will try to catch her in the act soon so you can all hear what I’m talking about.

A few weeks ago Paul took some pictures of Abby. Here are a few. I feel so lucky to know someone who takes such beautiful pictures of my daughter!

Abby met a new friend

Abby seems to have just realized that there is a little girl in the mirror that looks at her and moves when she moves. We got the camera a little late, but the excitement that you see at the beginning lasted a few minutes before we got the camera.

BBQ avec Josi et Salvador

On a invité Salvador et Josi a venir souper avec nous, et il faisait tellement beau qu'Abby s'est baigner dans sa piscine pour la premiere fois! L'eau etait un peu froide, mais c'etait pas mal agreable!
